I get this error sometimes as well, and it usually means (for me) that I'm running out of memory and need to freeze a few of my audio instruments. Once I do that, everything is fine.. 2. in Logic's Synchronization settings, uncheck the MIDI Clock Out setting, even if it is unassigned. Other things to try are disabling 'auto sync' and setting Audio digital clock sync to 'external or free'.. 3. Trashing or moving Logic prefs is always high on the list when troubleshooting. (if you have custom keycommand assignments, just move the prefs file so you can re-import the KCs) Logic prefs are here: ~/Library/Preferences/Logic/com.apple.logic.pro (where '~' is your user directory).. 4. This can happen if you are using a MOTU 828 Mk 2 in which case resetting the factory defaults on the MOTU fixes it.. 1.
