Yup. I'm gigging again for the first time in what... fifteen years?
Caedmon, the 'acid folk' band I was a fifth of in the seventies is playing a couple of reunion gigs in Edinburgh this year.
We're getting together to perform in the same theatre we haunted 30 years ago. And we'll be playing new songs and reprising some old ones too.
For us, the theatre will always be known as the Netherbow, but now it's called the Scottish Storytelling Centre. It's still on the Royal Mile though, and it still seats around hundred folk, so seriously, if you want tickets I suggest you sign up soon.
Oh - the dates? Friday 7th and Saturday 8th May 2010 at 7.30pm.
For updates on Caedmon go to caedmonsreturn.com and for more information on the gigs The Scottish Storytelling Centre - Caedmon May 7th.
No online booking I'm afraid, but you can call the Scottish Storytelling Centre on 0131 556 9579 (+44 131 556 9579 from outside the UK). Or failing that, doorstep them.
